San Luis is a rapidly expanding Arizona town on the US Mexican Border in Yuma Count. The town was founded in 1930 with the opening of the US Border Crossing. The town has since grown to over 30,000. The town of San Luis Río Colorado in Sonora Mexico has a population exceeding 160,000.

As San Luis includes the point in which the Colorado River flows into Mexico, it is the lowest point in Arizona with an elevation of 130' or 40 meters above sea level.
